Photo Visual Confirmation 1.1.2
Every forum administrator has encountered a problem with unwanted spammers, often resulting from automated scripts that register as many accounts as possible. A popular way of stopping these scripts is to use visual confirmation, or CAPTCHA. Sadly, most types of visual confirmation are soon defeated, rendering them next to useless.
Photo Visual Confirmation enhances phpBB with a new type of visual confirmation that is very difficult to defeat. By using a series of photographs and asking users to select all the photos that meet certain critera (such as all cats), you get a CAPTCHA that requires human reasoning to bypass. Throw in some of your own unique photographs and scripts will be stopped in their tracks.
This is a phpBB 3 adaption of Josh Yelon's phpBB 2 modification, Photo Visual Confirmation 1.0.1a.
